8th Economic Forum NEU DENKEN 2025
A Year of Challenges: From Vision to Impact
The dominant topics of the 8th Economic Forum NEU DENKEN 2025 will revolve around the economic and geopolitical challenges facing Germany and Europe. With a new U.S. President, Donald Trump, and a new German government, transatlantic relations will have to be realigned. Proposed measures such as tariff increases or tax cuts in the U.S. could significantly impact the global economy, presenting additional challenges for Germany. How can - and must - a new government stimulate economic growth? Will 2025 finally bring peace to Ukraine and other regions? Now more than ever, we have to shift from NEU DENKEN (rethinking) to NEU HANDELN (new action). We look forward to welcoming top-tier speakers who are ready to look ahead with us.
The presenters team for the eighth edition of NEU DENKEN is set! Media entrepreneur Sabine Christiansen, who leads the forum’s content, will be joined in interviews and debates by three top figures from the German media landscape: Michael Bröcker, Editor-in-Chief of Table.Briefings, Horst von Buttlar, Editor-in-Chief of WirtschaftsWoche, and Ulrich Reitz, Chief Economic Correspondent for RTL and ntv.

A key factor in the success of NEU DENKEN is the extensive preparatory work leading up to the forum – from analyzing global developments to selecting speakers and designing the program. This intensive groundwork, currently in full swing, will ensure that the forum delivers valuable insights with its signature precision and depth.
Our 8th Economic Forum will once again be an expedition into reality. Germany, Europe and the world are at a turning point - it is time for NEW THINKING and NEW ACTION. In addition to the geopolitical situation, the topics of bureaucracy reduction and skills shortages, new cybercrime scenarios against the backdrop of AI and developments in the area of energy prices and sustainable investments will also be in focus and analysed by renowned speakers.
With NEU DENKEN, we bring together relevant decision-makers and thought leaders in an ideology-free, interdisciplinary and confidential setting.
